Brief

To redesign and build the e-comerce website with new full purchase funtionaility as well as a backend web application for the nationwide dealer network.

Process

I oversaw a team consisting of one UX designer and one UI designer. I conducted user interviews with employees at a number of different dealership franchises to gather the pain-points of the existing backend software. I worked with BAs client side and internally to gather business requirements. We used Figma for both the wireframes and the designs. We iterated the wires by getting feedback from the dealerships on a regular basis. The internal tool reduced the time it took to upload a vehicle from forty-five minutes down to just ten. The E-com site redesign resulted in 60% more leads from the same time the previous year, and the greatest number of leads since records began.
